Pluses:
- Any LAMP related skills

Senior Web Development Engineer
We have an immediate opening for a talented and creative engineer to join our fun, fast paced environment. This person will play a central role in developing our flagship platform and should be comfortable with stand-alone tasks and team-oriented development.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Design team to produce crisp and intuitive social user interfaces
- Design clean, reusable and maintainable solutions
- Implement these solutions quickly
Required Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of PHP
- Experience working with object oriented code
- Ability to program for MySQL integration in a high load environment
- Strong HTML and CSS skills
- Strong javascript skills
- Experience using web services
- Ability to perform general sys admin tasks
Pluses:
- Experience with Flash
- Experience with emerging social tools such as Facebook Platform and Open Social

Sales Director
We need an energetic and passionate senior level executive to lead our advertising sales initiatives. This person will be responsible for developing our sales team, collateral and processes while working with our team to create innovative and responsive ad units within our extensive portfolio of niche social web properties.
Responsibilities:
- Engage and strategize with senior level executives at client companies to demonstrate how Lifefitter can drive revenue to their business.
- Develop and cultivate deep relationships with client senior executives at VP, SVP, and C levels.
- Recruit and develop a sales team
- Identify and understand trends within client markets and industries.
- Hit target revenue quota.
- Engage in direct prospecting and lead generation activities; negotiate and close deals.
- Pitch new business to advertising agencies and direct clients
- Draft proposals and assist in the creation of sales materials
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of Media Sales experience (3+ years of Online experience preferred)
- Relationships with top marketing decision makers at national Fortune 1000 companies, industry leaders in our niche channels and top agencies
- Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships
- Demonstrated track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and delivery
- Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market
- Deep understanding of internet advertising technology and the ability to explain it in ordinary terms
- Previous start-up experience a strong plus
- BA/BS strongly preferred.

Location:
Lifefitter is headquartered in Columbia, SC but we would prefer to base our sales office in New York. We are open to other locations and building this department around the ideal candidate.
